The Microset allows the option of having an atmospheric pressure sensor to be connected. This will then give a pressure data reading every time a rate sample is taken and it logs the data in the same file as the rate readings.
I do not have that additional pressure accessory fitted to my own microset, so the pressure was added manually to the microset data file afterwards by myself.
The pressure data is obtained from the
Link.
This gives the pressure every half hour for an airport near Bournemouth, Dorset, in the South of the UK. (Its nice to know the airport contributes something other than constant noise pollution )
Other UK airports are also available on this same website.
The relevant pressure reading against any particular time are therefore only accurate to within half an hour. This 30 minute interval for pressure data should not in any way affect the validity of the results, as pressure changes happen over a longer period of time.
